Fun Fishing Day
We are excited to host the children of the Ronald McDonald House AND the children of Shriners Children's Hospital of Galveston this year at the Pelican Rest Marina for the 3rd Annual Fun Fishing Day!
The children and their families will spend the morning fishing with Club volunteers who will help them bait their hooks, reel in their fish and keep track of their winning catches. They will also be treated to a delicious lunch prepared by the Cool Cookers team. The kiddos will finish their day with smiles on their faces and trophies, pictures and goody bags in hand!
DONATE TODAY!
The Club is accepting donations for the Ronald McDonald House and Shriners Children's Hospital. Paper goods, toiletries, non-perishable food, new clothing and shoes and monetary donations are all extremely helpful to the families. If you are interested in donating to the event or contributing your time to the Fun Fishing Day, please contact the Club at 409-744-2307.

Captain's Corner
It's that time of year again. Summer has ended and many of us are making the transition from fishing to hunting. Dove hunting has been great so far this season except for a couple of days of solid downpours of rain. We have three weekends left but will be switching back and forth from Dove hunts and taking some customers out to the jetties for some Bull Redfish action and when the weather gets right, offshore for the fall Yellowfin Tuna & Marlin bite. We have had some good reports on the Tuna catches at the deep water rigs and hope to get in on some of that action as soon as we get a good weather window. There is also a very good chance at a Blue Marlin this time of year. Good luck to everyone on a great hunting season and hope we all get a few more shots at getting out deep before the end of the year!
