Join the Houston Big Game Fishing Club in Supporting the
11th Annual
Port O'Connor TOY RUN!
We are excited and proud to announce that the HBGFC is supporting the 11th Annual Port O'Connor Toy Run! The Club is donating $1,000 to purchase toys for this year's Toy Run. The Toy Run is a truly special event that benefits the Adopt-An-Angel Program of Port O'Connor which provides toys to over 400 at-risk boys and girls ages 2-16 in eleven different counties along the Texas Coast.
HELP THE CLUB SUPPORT THE 11TH ANNUAL PORT O'CONNOR TOY RUN!
Here is how YOU can get involved:
JOIN THE TOY RUN IN YOUR OWN BOAT
Fill your boat full of donated, new unwrapped toys and participate in the Toy Run to Port O'Connor on December the 7th. 40 Boats or more will depart from Bridge Bait & Tackle in Freeport and travel the ICW to Port O'Connor. The "Santa boats" will stop at Matagorda Harbor for lunch and fuel and then proceed to Port O'Connor. Once in Port O'Connor, a picnic lunch will be served at Clark's Inn and be followed by the traditional Port O'Connor Holiday Boat Parade! The party will continue at Hurricane Junction where a live band will entertain all of the Toy Run elves. If you have not heard, this event is legendary for the fun of it all.Plenty of dock space and overnight lodging is available in Port O'Connor for the boats and elves.

PURCHASE AND DONATE
Purchase and donate new unwrapped toys for children ages 2 - 16. Your donated toys can be delivered to the Club office in Galveston where they will be collected for delivery to the Club's designated Santa Boat. Club member Jasen Gast is excited to represent the Club in the Toy Run! All of the toys collected by the Club will make the ride on December 7th from Freeport to Port O'Connor on Jasen's REHAB!

MAKE A DONATION
If shopping for toys or taking a boat trip in December aren't options, you can write a check! Please make checks payable to Port O'Connor Community Center. Please note POC Toy Run in the subject line and mail to Marie Hawes at 2274 W. Monroe, POC, Texas 77982. All of the donations received will be used to purchase toys and provide a Merry Christmas to the special children.
All donations are tax exempt.
