Home Sweet Home

Chapter eleven of the book of Hebrews is often referred to at the "Chapter of Faith". Throughout the chapter the deeds of great men and women of faith are chronicled. These men and women all had the same understanding of "Home". They knew that no matter where they found themselves on planet earth, it could not be considered their true home. They understood this truth so much so, that they continued to look forward to the "Home Sweet Home" that God Himself had prepared for them! And, they considered themselves as travelers on planet earth who were merely passing through.
 
We must understand beyond any doubt that this world is not our home! As God's children, we are destined for something greater than this current world system could ever offer us. We shouldn't allow ourselves to get too comfortable in this current world we are living in. Instead, we should, like the saints of old, look forward to a home which God Himself has prepared for those who love Him. We should concentrate on completing the Mission Jesus gave us; bringing the Gospel message to every living soul on planet earth, and then making disciples of those who embrace that message! Let us keep the right perspective as we travel through this world, knowing we have been given a Great Mission, and that we have yet to enter our "Home Sweet Home", and indeed, will not in this life time! Better things await us!!
