Understanding
     
"Since he himself has gone through suffering and testing, he is able to help us when we are being tested." Hebrews 2:18 (NLT)
 
Because Jesus lived in a body of flesh He understands the pain and heartaches we face in this life. He knows how it feels to lose a loved one. He understands how if feels to be deserted by someone you care for. What it's like to be betrayed by a friend. He knows how it feels to suffer with physical affliction. Jesus knows what it's like to be tempted by the enemy, and He knows how to overcome such temptation.
 
Jesus understands all the trials and tragedies we face, and because He has experienced these things Himself He is able to help us when we go through them. When we face suffering we have a Friend who has faced the same, and is ready and able to help us through our suffering. When tragedy hits us, we have a Brother who has faced tragedy Himself, and stands ready to deliver us, bringing peace and comfort to our lives. If you're hurting today, and it seems as though everything around you is falling apart, you have a Lord that understands your pain. And, He is ready to deliver you from that pain, bringing healing and comfort. Call out to Jesus! He truly understands your hurt. You are not alone! Jesus will never leave or forsake you, and, He will see you through this time of heartache and pain! He will deliver you!
