Not Ashamed
     
"So never be ashamed to tell others about our Lord. And don't be ashamed of me, either, even though I'm in prison for him. With the strength God gives you, be ready to suffer with me for the sake of the Good News." 2 Timothy 1:8 (NLT)
 
After Paul tells Timothy, "God has not given us a spirit of fear and timidity, but of power, love, and self-discipline." He then tells him to "never be ashamed to tell others about the Lord." God has given us His strength by the Holy Spirit, so that we may be a powerful voice for Him! The Lord has entrusted us with spreading the life changing message of the Gospel, and expects us to be bold in doing so! We should not be timid or fearful as we set out tell other about the Good News of Jesus!
 
As we go out every day, prepared to tell those we encounter about Jesus, there will undoubtedly be some, and perhaps even many, who reject our message, and even ridicule and mock us for our attempts to bring this life saving message to them. But, there will also be those who embrace our message, as we snatch them from the very fires of Hell by the power of the Gospel! We must keep our hearts focused on pleasing our Lord, so that no matter what others think or say, we will be more than content, knowing we have pleased our Lord; the One who has sent us. Be bold and fearless as you step out today prepared to tell others about the Good News of Jesus Christ!
 
"I am not ashamed of the gospel, for it is the power of God for salvation [from His wrath and punishment] to everyone who believes [in Christ as Savior], to the Jew first and also to the Greek."
