Entrusted
     
"For we speak as messengers approved by God to be entrusted with the Good News. Our purpose is to please God, not people. He alone examines the motives of our hearts." 1 Thessalonians 2:4 (NLT)
 
Just as the Apostle Paul was entrusted with the Good News of Jesus Christ, so has every born again believer! We have been approved by God when He filled us with His Spirit, making us a New Creation, and sealing us unto the day of redemption! Now, we are to seek to please no other than our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ! In doing so, we must guard ourselves from becoming involved in the many things the enemy has placed out in the world to distract believers from the task they have been given. Paul told Timothy "No one engaged in warfare entangles himself with the affairs of this life, that he may please him who enlisted him as a soldier." We have been enlisted into the Lord's army to spread the Good News of Jesus Christ, so let us waste no time! Make time today to proclaim the Good News of Jesus Christ to someone! Go out of your way, perhaps even strategize a plan, but let not this day pass without your lips professing to an unbeliever the Gospel message of Jesus Christ our Lord!
