Ringing Out
     
"And now the word of the Lord is ringing out from you to people everywhere, even beyond Macedonia and Achaia, for wherever we go we find people telling us about your faith in God. We don't need to tell them about it." 1 Thessalonians 1:8 (NLT)
 
Paul tells the Thessalonian believers that the word of the Lord was ringing out from them. Who they were couldn't be kept a secret...what had happened in their life couldn't be hid...the Gospel of Jesus Christ couldn't be stopped from ringing out from them! This is the power a life that has been transformed by Jesus! It proclaims its New Life in everything it does! So much so that this New Life is as a ringing bell that alerts the world to the change that has happened and the power of the Gospel message that brought it!
 
Paul told the saints in Ephesus "Don't drink too much wine. That cheapens your life. Drink the Spirit of God, huge draughts of him. Sing hymns instead of drinking songs! Sing songs from your heart to Christ. Sing praises over everything, any excuse for a song to God the Father in the name of our Master, Jesus Christ." Let your life ring out praises to Jesus! Let it proclaim His saving grace in every way! Let your being make music in the way it is daily lived out, so that your Lord and Savior may be praised in all you do and in every place you go!
