"Then Isaac trembled exceedingly, and said, Who? Where is the one who hunted game and brought it to me? I ate all of it before you came, and I have blessed him-and indeed he shall be blessed."
Genesis 27:33 (NKJ)
 
Jacob deceives his father into believing he is Esau, and in doing such he is able to steal the blessing his father intended to give to his brother. Both brothers understood the power of this spoken blessing, even when it was received deceitfully! Isaac spoke the blessing over Jacob, and even though he may have wanted to take it back, he couldn't! Isaac understood the power of his spoken blessing!
 
This picture from scripture shows us the power we have in blessing our children! We have the power to speak life or death into them! We must be careful to always speak life! Daily we should speak blessings over our children realizing we have the power of the Holy Spirit working in us and through us to do such! Our spoken blessings over our children are powerful, and we should treat them that way! Speak life over your children today! Guard your mouth from any curses or negative speaking over them or towards them! Your words are powerful, and your children will reap the fruit of them!
