Feeling Poor???
     
"He lifts the poor from the dust and the needy from the garbage dump. He sets them among princes, placing them in seats of honor. For all the earth is the Lord's, and he has set the world in order."
1 Samuel 2:8 (NLT)
 
The day we called out to Jesus to save us, surrendering our lives to Him, He reached down and took us from the garbage dump and set us in a seat of honor among the other children of the Royal Family! Through Jesus Christ we have been taken from nothing to everything! God has seated us in heavenly places with Jesus Himself! We are now children of the Most High King! Unfortunately many of God's children still have a poverty mentality. They see themselves as poor and forsaken, searching amongst the leftover garbage for their provision. They have bought into the lies of the enemy! God's Word proclaims that as His children we are not beggars! Jesus has provided for all of our needs! He created everything and it all belongs to Him, as we do, and so we are no longer beggars of bread, but we now eat from the King's table! The Bible says, "Seek the Kingdom of God above all else, and live righteously, and he will give you everything you need." God is ready today to give you everything you need! The key word there is "GIVE"! You don't have to earn or deserve it; you simply have to believe God loves you and desires to freely overflow your cup with His provision! God wants to GIVE you ALL that He has! You are no beggar of bread! You have been brought into the palace, and now are seated at the King's table! So, receive the King's goodness and love freely! It is ALL yours through Jesus Christ!
