Jesus understood his time on planet earth was limited, and the task He had been assigned by the Father could not be compromised in even the smallest part! Jesus had to fully complete the mission He was given, and He was going to have to do it in the time He had been allotted! Jeremy Taylor, a clergyman and author from the 17th century, once said, "God hath given to man a short time here upon earth, and yet upon this short time eternity depends." Indeed, just like Jesus we have been given a finite amount of time on planet earth, and at the same time been entrusted with a Great Mission! When God created us anew in Christ Jesus, God laid out His plan for our new lives in our spirit. Now, it is up to us to make the most of every minute we have been given, to finish the work of our Lord, which has been entrusted to us! And, truly, the wait of our labors here on planet earth will be felt thorough eternity; either by the souls we have rescued from the fires of hell, or the ones we neglect to rescue, in favor of doing something else. Time is short! Our Mission is Grand! The time we waist cannot be regained! We must endeavor to live our lives well, making the most of every moment for the sake of the One who has saved us and called us into His service! Live this life well! Finish the Mission you have been entrusted with! Hold that Mission as a priority in life! Know, your labors carry an eternal weight! Go forth today in the power of the Holy Spirit, expanding the Kingdom of your Lord, making the most of every moment you have been given here on planet earth! Never forget, life is indeed short, so LIVE it WELL!!
