Believe In Jesus
     
"Jesus told them, 'This is the only work God wants from you: Believe in the one he has sent.'" John 6:29 (NLT)
 
Believing In Jesus...is this truly ALL God wants from us? What does it mean to "Believe In Jesus" anyways? When we truly believe in Jesus, that He was indeed God in the flesh, and that He died on the cross for our sins, freeing us from the power of sin and death, and that He was resurrected three days later bringing us eternal life and victory over the grave, it changes everything! When we believe in Jesus we understand that through His righteous sacrifice we have been freed from the curse, and that the Law has been removed from us; in fact we are, as the Bible declares, dead to the Law, and now all the blessings and goodness of God are free to flow to us through Jesus Christ apart from anything we have done or could ever do, it changes everything! When we believe in Jesus it brings us a new sense of purpose, we understand our lives were meant to be part of something bigger than ourselves; that we have an eternal purpose, and we are called to live lives of eternal significance for the glory of our God, it changes everything! Believing in Jesus, sounds simple, and in some ways truly is, but the implications of simply, but truly, believing is eternally grand! Truly believe, and put all your trust and faith, in who Jesus is and all He has done, and it will change everything about you and your life!
