"There was a man named Nicodemus, a Jewish religious leader who was a Pharisee. After dark one evening, he came to speak with Jesus. 'Rabbi,' he said, 'we all know that God has sent you to teach us. Your miraculous signs are evidence that God is with you.'"
John 3:1-2 (NLT)
 
When Nicodemus came to Jesus he knew that Jesus had to be from God, and he knew it by the miracles Jesus preformed. The miracles Jesus did while on planet earth never saved anyone, but they indeed testified of who He was. Even though many of the Jewish leaders disliked Jesus, the miracles He performed convinced people that He was the real thing, and that His Message was indeed different than any other!
 
God continues to work great miracles through His servants today as evidence that their Message is truly from the One true God! The signs and wonders that are worked by the hand of God, through the hands of His servants on planet earth, serve as evidence of who they represent. And, that the Message they proclaim is distinctly different than all the other broken religious messages that the enemy uses to deceive humanity and hold it in bondage to sin and death.
 
The Message we proclaim is real! It is a Message of power! A Message of deliverance! A Message of healing! As representatives of Jesus Christ we must always expect our words of truth to be backed up with a demonstration of power! Miracles do not save people, and just like when Jesus walked the earth, there will be many who taste of God's miracle working power and never called on the name of Jesus for salvation; it happened then and it will happen now! But, none the less, these miracles proclaim who we are and who we represent!
 
"My message and my preaching were not with wise and persuasive words, but with a demonstration of the Spirit's power, so that your faith might not rest on human wisdom, but on God's power."
