The Value Of Jesus
     
"Again, the Kingdom of Heaven is like a merchant on the lookout for choice pearls. When he discovered a pearl of great value, he sold everything he owned and bought it!" Matthew 13:45-46 (NLT)
 
We must learn to see value in Jesus; understanding that He is truly more valuable than silver and gold! If we can somehow grasp all He has done for us in freeing us from the Law and delivering us from the curse, we will begin to understand the great gift we have received through the Gospel. The Apostle Paul wrote to the church in Galatia saying, "But Christ has rescued us from the curse pronounced by the law. When he was hung on the cross, he took upon himself the curse for our wrongdoing. For it is written in the Scriptures, 'Cursed is everyone who is hung on a tree.' Through Christ Jesus, God has blessed the Gentiles with the same blessing he promised to Abraham, so that we who are believers might receive the promised Holy Spirit through faith".
 
Through Jesus we have access to all the blessing and riches of our Heavenly Father! Jesus is the ultimate prize, and He freely gives Himself, and all His accomplishments, to all who call on His name! Again, the Bible says, "And this same God who takes care of me will supply all your needs from his glorious riches, which have been given to us in Christ Jesus." If you have Jesus you have everything! We must see value in Jesus! If you want to reap all the blessings of God begin to see GREAT value in Jesus! Hold Him in GREAT esteem! We must all see the GREAT value there is in Jesus, understanding all He has done and accomplished for us, as we rely on Him for every good thing in our lives! He must be our Treasure!
