Precious In God's Eye
     
"Or suppose a woman has ten silver coins and loses one. Won't she light a lamp and sweep the entire house and search carefully until she finds it? And when she finds it, she will call in her friends and neighbors and say, 'Rejoice with me because I have found my lost coin.' In the same way, there is joy in the presence of God's angels when even one sinner repents." Luke 15:8-10 (NLT)
 
God loves us so dearly that He doesn't simply wait on us, He comes after us! Truly, no one can come to Jesus unless they are drawn to Him by the Father, through the Holy Spirit! This is how precious we are in the eyes of our Father in Heaven! God doesn't wait for us to make the first move, He seeks us out as a lost coin, and when we are found He rejoices over us! For that which was lost has been found, and returned to the rightful owner
 
Know that you are precious in the eyes of God! God views you as His special creation, uniquely crafted to bring glory to Him! Ephesians 2:10 says, "For we are God's masterpiece. He has created us anew in Christ Jesus, so we can do the good things he planned for us long ago".   What a treasure each of us are as individuals to our Father in Heaven. So valued, that He took the time to distinctively mold us into an image that would be able to accomplish all the extraordinary things He has prepared for our lives! Jesus said, "What is the price of two sparrows-one copper coin? But not a single sparrow can fall to the ground without your Father knowing it. And the very hairs on your head are all numbered. So don't be afraid; you are more valuable to God than a whole flock of sparrows." We must understand the great value God has placed on our lives if we hope to live in the fullness of that which the Lord has prepared for each of His children!
