Strength can come from many different sources. There is physical strength which comes from good genes and the personal discipline of physical exercise. There is mental strength which comes from higher learning and various mental disciplines. There is a strength that is derived from ones position in society, or even ones political associations. But, there is still another strength; this strength cannot be achieved by any discipline, nor can it be gained by association or affluence. This Strength comes from nowhere else but the Lord! It is a strength that comes from the Holy Spirit living inside of us! It is derived from our inner man, as it is strengthened by the Holy Spirit. Andrew Murray once said, "Do not strive in your own strength; cast yourself at the feet of the Lord Jesus, and wait upon Him in the sure confidence that He is with you, and works in you. Strive in prayer; let faith fill your heart-so will you be strong in the Lord, and in the power of His might." Allow the Lord to be your source of strength! He provides a strength that is unmatched, a strength that cannot be toppled, and a strength that will never fail! The Lord is your strength!!
