Each born again believer is united as one in Christ Jesus, but still uniquely created, distinct in their abilities and gifting. Created that way by the Lord, so that they we may be fully equipped to fulfill their God given destiny. As the Apostle Paul wrote in his letter to the saints in Ephesus, "We are God's masterpiece. He has created us anew in Christ Jesus, so we can do the good things he planned for us long ago." Understanding who we are in Christ and embracing your unique gifts and talents, is paramount for each of us, if we desire to evangelize the world for Christ!
 
Vance Havner, an American evangelist, once said, "Our Lord said, 'Follow me, and I will make you fishers of men.' It is evident, then, that a true disciple is a soul-winner. It is possible to sit on the shore discussing the signs of the times when we ought to be driven by the signs of the times to launch out into the deep and let down our nets for a draught." No doubt, we can adapt to each situation by the power of the Holy Spirit as needed, but when we understand who God has uniquely created us to be, and begin to operate within that personality and evangelistic style, we will become more productive for the Kingdom of God. And we will lose much of the anxiety and dread that comes from trying to evangelize the world mimicking someone else's gifting and talents.
 
"But you will receive power when the Holy Spirit comes upon you. And you will be my witnesses, telling people about me everywhere-in Jerusalem, throughout Judea, in Samaria, and to the ends of the earth." Acts 1:8 (NLT)
