The Invisible
     
"It was by faith that Moses left the land of Egypt, not fearing the king's anger. He kept right on going because he kept his eyes on the one who is invisible." Hebrews 11:27 (NLT)
 
The Bible describes faith as a resilient hope in that which cannot be seen, a hope that cannot, nor will not, be shaken by time or circumstance. True faith has an absolute assurance in a reality that cannot be seen. God is described as the One who is Invisible. Yes, He can be seen is His creation, which has gotten many in trouble by worshiping the creation instead of the Creator. For it take no faith to worship that which can be seen. It is too often that God's children put their trust in things which they can physically see; they substitute faith in the Invisible God for a cheap belief system based on the things they are able to possess and pursue with their natural instincts and abilities. But, this cheap belief system can never please God, nor can it receive the fullness and abundance of His immeasurable GRACE! The Scriptures are clear when they say, "It is impossible to please God without faith. Anyone who wants to come to him must believe that God exists and that he rewards those who sincerely seek him." Have faith in the Invisible God! Refuse to put you trust in things you can see; God can use those things to bless you, but we should never put our hope or trust in them! Look to the Invisible God, having faith in that which you cannot see or describe; seeking and worshiping Him alone!   And the Invisible God will show up in a VERY visible way in your life and circumstances!
