Faith Walk
     
"For we live by faith, not by sight." 2 Corinthians 5:7 (NIV)
 
We have been called to live this life by total assurance in God's Word, regardless of what our eyes behold! Our eyes can often play tricks on us; they cause us to doubt God's promises. We know what the Word of God says, but what we see doesn't fall in line with it, or at least doesn't appear to. The enemy will use every trick in his book to try and get us to doubt God's Word, and if we follow what our eyes first behold, he will be successful in causing us to miss out on all the promises and blessings of God. But, if we will refuse to allow doubt to enter our minds when the things we first behold do not line up with the promises God has spoken to our hearts, or the promises He has delivered to us through His Word, we will eventually see the manifestation of those promises in our lives! True faith, which sees the promises of God become a reality, refuses to retreat when things don't appear to be working out according to God's Word. True faith bunkers down and holds on tight to God's Word, knowing that in due season it will be rewarded! The true walk of faith is always rewarded! Hold tight to God's promises, regardless of what your eyes may tell you! Walk in faith, holding true to the course God has set you on, and you will see the reality of God's promises in your life!
