Overcoming
     
"The Lord our God also helped us conquer Aroer on the edge of the Arnon Gorge, and the town in the gorge, and the whole area as far as Gilead. No town had walls too strong for us." Deuteronomy 2:36 (NLT)
 
Moses recounts the Israelites journey through the desert, and brings to mind how God helped them in their battles; how they were able to overcome great obstacles, because God was there fighting for them. Regardless of what town the Israelites came to none of the towns were able to stop them, for God was with them, blessing them and making them prosperous. No obstacle was too difficult! No wall was too great!
 
The Apostle Paul, in his writings to the church in Rome, poses a question, "If God is for us, who can ever be against us?" The answer to the question is obvious, "NO person, NO devil, ABSOLUTELY nothing"! When the children of Israel where in the wilderness, and went into battle like the Lord directed them, no one could stop them; simply because God was for them! We must embrace the same truth today! If we will only follow the Lord as He directs us, no one will be able to stop us! No mountain will be too big! No valley will be too deep! No giant too strong! There will be no challenge or obstacle we cannot OVERCOME! Trust God to fight for you!! Step-out in faith as the Lord leads you! Don't be afraid of the impossible! When God is with you nothing is too difficult! There is no obstacle you cannot overcome when God is in your corner! Let nothing stop you from taking ALL the Lord has spoken to your heart! Move forward in faith, knowing God is with you, and though you may face great obstacles, you will OVERCOME ALL of them; for God is for you!
