One Master
     
"No one can serve two masters. For you will hate one and love the other; you will be devoted to one and despise the other. You cannot serve God and be enslaved to money." Matthew 6:24 (NLT)
 
Money controls and dictates the course which most of society travels. Money, or the lack there of, also determines how many people choose to respond to God. Jesus told His followers, "When the Spirit of truth comes, he will guide you into all truth." Jesus was clear that the Holy Spirit was to dictate the path we walk; not our bank accounts. We must never allow our financial situation to limit what God desires to do in our lives. God is able to take two fish and five loaves of bread and feed a multitude of people with plenty to spare! We must always act in faith according to the leading of the Holy Spirit, not our current financial situation, and allow God to work in a miraculous way in our lives. God wants to do miraculous works through His children, and in their lives, but if we allow money to dictate what we attempt, or fail to attempt, for the Lord, He will never have a chance. Move in faith, submitting to God's will, regardless of your money situation, and God will do incredible things in your life, providing in an extravagant way, so that His name may be glorified throughout the entire world!  
 
"Teach those who are rich in this world not to be proud and not to trust in their money, which is so unreliable. Their trust should be in God, who richly gives us all we need for our enjoyment."
