Healing Words
     
"My child, pay attention to what I say. Listen carefully to my words. Don't lose sight of them. Let them penetrate deep into your heart, for they bring life to those who find them, and healing to their whole body." Proverbs 4:20-22 (NLT)
 
The Bible, which contains God's written Word, is uniquely different than any other book that has ever been put into print. We are told in the Scriptures that the Word is literally Jesus. The Apostle John wrote, "The Word became flesh and dwelt among us, and we beheld His glory, the glory as of the only begotten of the Father, full of grace and truth." Therefore, we must understand that our Bible is a living picture book of Jesus. When Jesus walked the earth He healed all who came to Him, showing no respect for person or disease.
 
As we read God's Word and really spent time meditating on it, we are turning our attention to Jesus, allowing Him to penetrate the deepest parts of our being, both emotional and physical. And, when this happens, the written Word, which is a living picture of Jesus, is able to penetrate any sickness the enemy may be plaguing us with, bringing complete healing. If you have sickness in your body today, open up the Scriptures and spend time reading and meditating on them, doing it all in faith, allowing the living Word to penetrate to the deepest root of the sickness or injury that is currently afflicting you, bringing healing and restoration to your physical body and emotional state of mind!
