"For just as each of us has one body with many members, and these members do not all have the same function, so in Christ we, though many, form one body, and each member belongs to all the others." Romans 12:4-5 (NIV)
 
Scientist believe there are 37.2 trillion cells in the human body, and they all work together to make the body function as it should. It's estimated that there have been 107 billion people who have ever lived on planet earth. As large a number as that is, it only represents a small fraction of the number of cells it takes to make the human body function properly. Of the 107 billion people who have lived, and all those yet to be born, everyone that has trusted in Christ, or the promise of Christ, for salvation go together like individual cells to make the Body of Christ work. Not one cell, in the Body of Christ, is independent of the others, they all function together to make the body work as it should. God has uniquely created all of His children to work together for the furtherance of His Kingdom; none of us are to be "lone wolf" Christians.
 
Know today that you play an important role in the body of Christ, and though your part may be different from others whose roles receive much recognition, yours is just as important! You are a member of the body of Christ! You have a very important part in making the body work as it should; don't hesitate to play out the role God has entrusted to you! In playing out your part in the body of Christ you have the ability to make an eternal difference for the Kingdom of God!
 
"The human body has many parts, but the many parts make up one whole body. So it is with the body of Christ. Some of us are Jews, some are Gentiles, some are slaves, and some are free. But we have all been baptized into one body by one Spirit, and we all share the same Spirit." 1 Corinthians 12:12-13 (NLT)
