Heavy Hearts
     
"And now, God, do it again-bring rains to our drought-stricken lives So those who planted their crops in despair will shout hurrahs at the harvest, So those who went off with heavy hearts will come home laughing, with armloads of blessing." Psalm 126:4-6 (MSG)
 
Although we are God's children we are not exempt from heartache. We face difficult times, going through seasons of life where nothing makes sense. Our hearts get heavy and we get weary. Both the Prophet Elijah and Moses faced such travail they wanted to die. The storms we face are sometimes more than we can bear, or at least more than we could ever bear alone. But for the child of God we hold an assurance that we will never be alone! No matter how strong the storm our Lord is there with us! No matter how heavy our hearts may feel, we never carry them alone! In the most difficult of seasons our Redeemer is with us, ready time and again, to deliver us from whatever trials may come our way!
 
If your heart is heavy, filled with despair, know that Jesus is there to bring you peace. Lift your eyes to Heaven for your Redeemer draws nigh! You are not alone in your struggle! You don't have to face this trial on you own, nor do you have to go through it by your own strength! Sorrow may last through the night, but for the child of God joy comes in the morning! Hold tight, your morning may be right around the corner! Our Father in Heaven is faithful to deliver His children! Our Lord is ready to carry your burdens, so let Him! Allow The Lord to fill your heart with peace, let Him take your burdens and give you His joy!
 
"To console those who mourn in Zion, To give them beauty for ashes, The oil of joy for mourning, The garment of praise for the spirit of heaviness; That they may be called trees of righteousness, The planting of the LORD, that He may be glorified." Isaiah 61:3 (NKJ)
