Unlikely Ways
     
"So that they brought the sick out into the streets and laid them on beds and couches, that at least the shadow of Peter passing by might fall on some of them." Acts 5:15 (NKJ)
 
The grace of God was abounding throughout Jerusalem, as the apostles did many signs and wonders! As news spread of what the Lord was doing people from neighboring towns brought their sick and tormented to Jerusalem to be healed. God was working so powerfully that the mere touch of Peter's shadow would heal those in need! What an unlikely way of doing things, I wonder if Peter ever asked God to heal and deliver people this way, or if he just went with the flow, allowing God to be God?
 
I think of when the Lord said, through the Prophet Isiah, "My ways are far beyond anything you could imagine." And truly they are! God does things in the most unlikely ways! And, if we want to see the full power of God unleashed in our lives, we won't try to figure God out or limit the way He does things; we'll simply allow Him to work His mighty wonders in our presence! God doesn't share the limitations of man, and if we try to put them on Him we'll miss out on living a life full of His miraculous wonders. I believe God is ready and willing to do wondrous works in your life today, but He may very well go about it in the most unlikely of ways! Let Him do it!! Let God do things His way! Let Him release the miraculous in your life, without any restrictions on how He can, or should, do it!
