Not What It Seems
     
"O LORD, how long shall I cry, And You will not hear? Even cry out to You, 'Violence!' And You will not save." Habakkuk 1:2 (NKJ)
 
The Prophet Habakkuk called out to God, and because he got no immediate answer, he felt that perhaps God wasn't listening, or maybe even didn't care about his cry. But, this was far from the true! God not only heard Habakkuk's cry, but was preparing to answer his cry in a remarkable way! The Lord tells Habakkuk, "I am doing something in your own day, something you wouldn't believe even if someone told you about it." God was getting ready to answer Habakkuk's prayer in a way that was so astonishing that even if someone had told him he wouldn't have been able to believe it!
 
Perhaps today you're a lot like Habakkuk, you're crying out to God in prayer and it seems as though nothing is happening. Maybe you've even questioned if God hears you. Be assured, that every prayer that comes from your lips in the name of Jesus, goes straight to His ears! And, just because it doesn't seem like God is doing something doesn't mean He's not. Perhaps God is getting ready to answer your prayers in such an amazing way that even if He told you, you wouldn't believe Him! And just maybe today, or tomorrow, will be the day that God astonishes you by doing far beyond all you've asked and all you've been able to imagine! Expect something great to happen to you today! Look for God to answer your prayer in a dramatic way! In a way that will send shock waves throughout your life! God is faithful and will answer your cries and request in His perfect time! Hold tight! Stand in faith! And you will see the mighty hand of God moving in your life and circumstances like you've never imagined!
