Be Light
     
"Feed the hungry, and help those in trouble. Then your light will shine out from the darkness, and the darkness around you will be as bright as noon." Isaiah 58:10 (NLT)
 
The followers of Christ carry the Light of Christ, a Light that is able to brighten up the darkest of nights! We are to carry that Light throughout the world, bringing an end to the darkness and despair the enemy has created! We must refuse any temptation to turn our backs on the hurting of this world; we have the answer to their pain! We have the Light of Jesus Christ, and we must shine that Light onto the hurting and hopeless of this world! And, it is none other than the love of God for the lost and downtrodden that moves us to brightly shine the Light we've been given. Augustine said, "What does love look like? It has the hands to help others. It has the feet to hasten to the poor and needy. It has eyes to see misery and want. It has the ears to hear the sighs and sorrows of men. That is what love looks like." Love the world around you with same passion as Jesus did, and in doing so you will shine with the Light of Christ, destroying the works of the devil, bring the hope and deliverance of Jesus Christ to the world around you!
