God Loves You
     
"It's useless to rise early and go to bed late, and work your worried fingers to the bone. Don't you know he enjoy giving rest to those he loves?" Psalm 127:2 (MSG)
 
God indeed loves us! We are His children and He is our Father! And as such, He desires to bless us, just as we desire to bless our children. God doesn't want us fretting and worrying about how we're going to get things done. He doesn't want us to be nervous and anxious about the economy, the political environment, or our natural surroundings; He simply wants us to stay focused on Him, so that He may graciously and generously provide for us, His children, whom He dearly loves! Learn to depend on the grace of God, and not your own strengths and abilities; for without the unmerited favor of God upon the works of our hands our labors will amount to nothing. When God's grace is upon our lives and labors, peace fills our hearts, and worry is completely vanquished, for we understand the One who loves us unconditionally is working in our favor, for His glory, and nothing we do will fail to prosper! Look to God! Love God! Be prospered by God!
 
"Don't bargain with God. Be direct. Ask for what you need. This isn't a cat-and-mouse, hide-and-seek game we're in. If your child asks for bread, do you trick him with sawdust? If he asks for fish, do you scare him with a live snake on his plate? As bad as you are, you wouldn't think of such a thing. You're at least decent to your own children.
