Frustrated Grace
     
"I do not frustrate the grace of God: for if righteousness come by the law, then Christ is dead in vain." Galatians 2:21 (KJV)
 
How is it that anyone could frustrate the grace of God? Simply by disregarding it, by setting it aside, and turning from it. When we began to rely on anything else but Jesus Christ to make us right, and worthy before God, we have frustrated the grace of God! Jesus alone has made us right with God! It is by Jesus, and through Jesus, that we stand before God blameless! Jesus has justified us; making us qualified to receive eternal life when we leave this planet! And, He has qualified us to receive all the blessings God has promised to His people throughout the Bible!
 
Martin Luther, the initiator of the Protestant Reformation, once said, "Either sin is with you, lying on your shoulders, or it is lying on Christ, the Lamb of God. Now if it is lying on your back, you are lost; but if it is resting on Christ, you are free, and you will be saved. Now choose what you want." Everything we receive from God is 100% dependent on the works of Jesus, and 0% dependent on our works! We can live out our time on planet earth blessed and prosperous because Jesus has made us righteous before the Lord our God! Don't frustrate the grace of God by trying to earn His blessings and goodness by your "good" works. Instead, simply receive them freely, knowing Jesus has paid for it all, and given it freely to you because He loves you, not because you deserve it. Be Blessed!
