"Thoughts" For "Life"
     
"And don't for a minute let this Book of The Revelation be out of mind. Ponder and meditate on it day and night, making sure you practice everything written in it. Then you'll get where you're going; then you'll succeed." Joshua 1:8 (MSG)
 
To ensure Joshua would be successful God tells him to keep His Word flowing through his mind. As Joshua continued to think and ponder on God's Word the fullness of its power and promises would be manifested into his life, and the lives of those he was entrusted to lead. The thoughts and ponderings of God's Word would serve as a gatekeeper of sorts that would open to Joshua all God had promised him.
 
Our thoughts have incredible power to guide the direction of our lives! When we choose to focus our thoughts on the promises of God they open the door to receive those promises! But, when we focus on the destructive practices of this fallen world, when we allow fear and doubt to flood our minds, we open the door for the enemy to bring destruction and chaos to our lives. We must learn to focus on God's Word and His promises for our lives, and not merely the things we behold with our natural eyes. Stay focused on God's Word, think about it and ponder how it will look in your life! Refuse to surrender your thoughts to the things of this world or the enemy of our souls, and you will see the supernatural blessings of God overflow into the natural world around you!
