God has made some magnificent promises to His children; His desire to bless them through Christ is evident throughout the scriptures! And, the gateway all these blessing will flow through is our mind. This is why our mind must be renewed, for it is only when our mind is renewed that our lives can be transformed by ALL the blessings and promises of God! If we continue to allow our mind to be dominated by our "Old Nature" we will continue to act and think like the world around us, and we will miss many of God's blessings He has promised us through Jesus Christ! But, if we will allow the Holy Spirit to dominate our minds, using our "New Nature" to change all that we are, ALL God has promised to us through His written Word, and ALL He has spoken to our hearts, will become a reality! If you want your life to reflect the good and pleasing will of God for it, allow the Holy Spirit to transform you by the renewing of your mind, putting your "Old Nature" to death daily and allowing your "New Nature" to reign supreme, walking in total obedience and faith towards our Lord!
