When we come to God, we have to believe that He is exactly who He says He is and that He rewards those who diligently seek after Him.  Going to God in prayer with that attitude, knowing and believing what the Word says about what God can and will do for us - we are sure to be rewarded by our faithful Father.  Diligently seek after Him until you receive your answered prayer!
