Firm Faith
     
"...If you do not stand firm in your faith, you will not stand at all." Isaiah 7:9 (NIV)
 
Firm Faith, is faith that does not waver with the tides of life! It is a faith that is secured by the Word of God, and is moved to action by such Word, regardless of what its eyes behold. William Booth, the founder of the Salvation Army, once said, "Faith and works should travel side by side, step answering to step, like the legs of men walking. First faith, and then works; and then faith again, and then works again--until they can scarcely distinguish which is the one and which is the other." The firmness of our faith will always be demonstrated by the works and actions of our lives! And, just as two legs carry a person from place to place, faith and works will carry us from promise to promise! Stand firm in your faith, ever trusting God's unfailing Word! Believe the promises He has spoken to your heart with such assurance that they move you to act on them! Let fear and doubt have no place in your life, for they are also like two legs, but they will do nothing but carry you away from the promises and blessing of God!
