Faith In The Name Of Jesus
    
"By faith in the name of Jesus, this man whom you see and know was made strong. It is Jesus' name and the faith that comes through him that has completely healed him, as you can all see." Acts 3:16 (NIV)
 
One day on their way to the Temple the apostles Peter and John are propositioned by a beggar for money. Peter tells the man, he has no silver or gold, but what he does have he will freely give to him. Then Peter tells him "In the name of Jesus Christ of Nazareth, walk." He takes him by the hand, and the man stands to his feet and begins to walk! It was faith in the name of Jesus that prompted Peter to make such a bold move, and it was the faith of Jesus that brought strength and healing to the man's legs!
 
It is faith in the name of Jesus that moves us to attempt the impossible! And, it is the faith of Jesus that gives us the power to accomplish the impossible! Because we believe that Jesus is God and that everything is under His authority, we are motivated to step forward in His name to move mountains, to destroy giants, to walk on water; we know that because we have been entrusted with the name of Jesus, we have the authority to do the impossible! And, because we have received the Holy Spirit, we also have the faith of Jesus, which gives us the power we need to do the impossible! We have the AUTHORITY and the POWER to do the impossible for our Lord Jesus Christ on this earth! Be bold brothers and sister! Step-out and step-up in the AUTHORITY and POWER of Jesus Christ! Let us live and move in the realm of the impossible daily!
