Trust God
    
"I trust in the Lord for protection. So why do you say to me, 'Fly like a bird to the mountains for safety!'" Psalm 11:1 (NLT)
 
Trust can be a hard thing to embrace, for as part of our "human" nature we love to be in control. So to entrust full control to anyone else can be very difficult for us to do. It can even be difficult for us to fully trust God. We often trust the Lord to drive the car as long as we can keep one hand on the steering-wheel. But God wants full control of our lives. He wants us to put all our trust in Him; to trust in His unfailing love for us. Corrie Ten Boon once said, "When a train goes through a tunnel and it gets dark, you don't throw away the ticket and jump off. You sit still and trust the engineer." We all face uncertain times, but regardless of the tides of life God wants us to always trust Him. He will not fail us, nor will He forsake us. Our God is ever vigilant in fighting our battles and providing for us. We need only trust Him to lead us, regardless of circumstance, and we will live in the fullness of His mercy and goodness!
