A man and woman wear their character as surely as they wear any other item of clothing. And, just like their physical clothing their character is seen by all. The child of God is to be clothed in the same character as their heavenly Father. Compassion, kindness, humility, quiet strength, and discipline are all pieces of clothing that are worn by our Father in Heaven, whom the Bible declares is "Love"! Love can be clothed no other way, for if it were it would be unrecognizable. Our Lord is easily recognized as "Love" because of how He is clothed, and He expects His children to be recognized the same, for we represent Him! When people see us they must see Jesus, and for that to be true we will have to be clothed in compassion, kindness, humility, quiet strength, and discipline or others will never recognize the Jesus we are representing; our words about Jesus will be worthless without a witness of expressed love! Know that you represent Jesus, meaning you are to show His unwavering love to this world. So, choose to cloth yourself with compassion, kindness, humility, quiet strength, and discipline, so that the world may see and experience the same of love of Christ that you have!
