Holy and Blameless
 
"Yet now he has reconciled you to himself through the death of Christ in his physical body. As a result, he has brought you into his own presence, and you are holy and blameless as you stand before him without a single fault."
Colossians 1:22 (NLT)
 
On the cross Jesus took ALL our sins: past, present, and future! When He rose, He rose anew; free from ALL the sin He took from mankind. Now when we call on Him for salvation, receiving His free gift of salvation, we are freed from ALL sin: past, present, and future! We now stand anew before God, holy and blameless! This is now our status with God! And no matter how "good" we behave or how "bad" we stumble, that status does not change! The devil will try to convince us that it does, he will whisper thoughts of doubt and fear to our hearts, throwing our mistakes in our face, but God is not keeping track of those mistakes!
 
We stand HOLY and BLAMELESS before God, at ALL times, because of Jesus! This is our new position with God, and that position opens us up to receive all the goodness and mercies of God! Because we are free form sin, standing HOLY and BLAMELESS before God, totally relying on the finished works of Jesus, we are in a place where God can freely command His blessing on us! Understanding your position with God plays a key role in receiving His blessings, for everything we receive from God is by faith, and if we see ourselves as a guilty sinner we will never be able to believe God for His goodness and mercies. But, if we see ourselves HOLY and BLAMELESS through Jesus Christ, we will position ourselves to believe God for an abundance of His blessings! Know your position with God and believe Him for the very best! Look for God to overflow your cup this day and every day!
