Living Wisely
 
"So be careful how you live. Don't live like fools, but like those who are wise. Make the most of every opportunity in these evil days. Don't act thoughtlessly, but understand what the Lord wants you to do." Ephesians 5:15-17 (NLT)
 
Paul urges the believers in Ephesus to give some thought to how they behave and the things they do. They are to understand that God has given them a designated amount of life, and they are to use that life in a wise manner, making the most of every opportunity that is given to them. They were to live a life that would be pleasing to God; one in which all they did would bring glory to Jesus Christ!
 
We to must live a life which is pleasing to God! We should purposely live our live in a manner where we make the most of every opportunity presented to us to expand the Kingdom of our Lord. We are to use godly wisdom, given by the Holy Spirit, to dictate our actions. We are not to merely respond to our surroundings instinctively, but we are to give thought to everything we do, purposely responding in a way which will bring glory to Jesus! Allow the Holy Spirit to direct you, giving you godly wisdom, showing you how to make the most of every opportunity, so that you may successfully finish the work God has entrusted to you!
