The Greatest Gift
 
"For unto us a child is born, unto us a son is given: and the government shall be upon his shoulder: and his name shall be called Wonderful, Counselor, The mighty God, The everlasting Father, The Prince of Peace." Isaiah 9:6 (KJV)
 
As we celebrate Christmas we remember the Greatest Gift ever given was that of Jesus Christ! God gave His only begotten Son to a world dying from sin. Jesus was, and still remains, the only cure for sin! The Bible reminds us that, "The wages of sin is death; but the gift of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord." We have all earned death, but through Jesus Christ we receive eternal life. We now stand before God freely and graciously declared righteous through Jesus Christ!   As we celebrate this day, let us remember the Greatest Gift that was every given; Jesus Christ! And, let us give glory to God for His redeeming Gift and love for all mankind!
