The Results Of Giving
 
"So two good things will result from this ministry of giving-the needs of the believers in Jerusalem will be met, and they will joyfully express their thanks to God." 2 Corinthians 9:12 (NLT)
 
As ambassadors of Christ, when we give to advance the Kingdom and to help the poor, our Lord receives glory. Our giving shouldn't bring about glory for ourselves, but for The One who gave everything for us! When we give, our giving should shine a spotlight on the incredible goodness of our Lord! Jesus should always be exalted in our generosity! And, when we give generously with a heart full of joy, as representatives of Heaven, our joy will spread to others and our God will be exalted!
 
Martin Luther said, "The heart of the giver makes the gift dear and precious." When you give, do it with a heart full of joy, out of Love for Jesus! Let your love for God reflect onto those you are giving to! Be a joyful giver and your Lord will receive glory in your giving; thanks will be offered to Him and He will be exalted!
