Thanksgiving
 
"Let them sacrifice the sacrifices of thanksgiving, and declare His works with rejoicing." Psalm 107:22 (NKJ)
 
God has been Sooooooo GOOD to us!!! If we were to try and write down all the ways and times He has blessed us we would surely fall short of paper and ink. Too frequently we take the blessings and goodness of God for granted, we become consumed with our busy schedules and allow our day-to-day activities to blind us to the face of God that shines upon our lives. Henry Beecher, an American preacher and reformer of the 19th century, said, "The unthankful heart discovers no mercies; but let the thankful heart sweep through the day and, as the magnet finds the iron, so it will find, in every hour, some heavenly blessings!" If you want your life filled with the blessings, goodness, and mercies of God be thankful for that which you have already received! Take time daily to give thanks and praise to God for all He has done for you! Refuse to complain, allowing your heart to sour and spoil, giving the devil glory. Focus on the good things God is doing for you! Praise Him for who He is and ALL He has done for you! And you will see the face of God shining brightly upon your life!
