A Radiant Life
 
"If you are filled with light, with no dark corners, then your whole life will be radiant, as though a floodlight were filling you with light." Luke 11:36 (NLT)
 
A life that radiates the world with the light of Christ is one that has chosen to be filled with that same light. With so many things just waiting to fill our hearts in minds we must be cautious with what we allow ourselves to ingest. If we allow our eyes to feast on the thinks of this world our hearts and minds will have "dark corners". These "dark corners" are like viruses that try to poison the light of Christ, keeping the children of God from being the radiant light that God has called them to be. To ensure these "dark corners" are not left to trip us up we should guard the things we choose to allow our eyes to look upon. For Jesus said, "Your eye is a lamp that provides light for your body." If we allow our eyes to look upon and admire the sinful and dark things of this world, those things will infect our life and create "dark corners". But, if we make a choice to not only reject those things, but to also focus in on the things of our Lord and His Kingdom, our entire body will be filled with light! We will then live a life of radiance that brings the light of Jesus Christ to the world! Focus in on what God is doing in your life, talk to others about it! Spend time in the Bible every day! Choose for your eyes to look upon the good things of the Lord, so that your heart and mind may be filled with the light of Christ, and your life will be a radiant one that shines in the darkest of times!
