Keep On
 
"And so I tell you, keep on asking, and you will receive what you ask for. Keep on seeking, and you will find. Keep on knocking, and the door will be opened to you." Luke 11:9 (NLT)
 
Jesus tells His disciples a story about a man who had visitors and needed bread to feed them, but he had none. So, he goes to his friend's house late at night to borrow some, but because it is late his friend doesn't want to get out of bed. But, because the man who needed bread was so persistent his friend finally gets up and gives him some, granting his request, just so he will leave him alone. This is valuable lesson that taught to the followers of Jesus about receiving, and it is one that has not diminished in value today.
 
When we pray we are to be persistent! We are to knock on the door until we get an answer! We are to continue searching until that which we are seeking is found! For this is the testimony of true faith! True faith is not startled when an answer does not come immediately! True faith does not waver in its stance no matter how long it must wait! True faith will never quit until an answer comes! If you're seeking the Lord in prayer and an answer has yet to come, don't be startled in your stance of faith, and don't allow a delay to waver you in your persistency! Keep knocking! Keep seeking! Be persistent! Stand in faith! And you will receive an answer to your prayer in God's perfect time!
