"Jesus grew in wisdom and in stature and in favor with God and all the people." Luke 2:52 (NLT)
 
Jesus grew and so must we! When we start our Christian walk we are spiritual babies, but we can't stay that way! As strange as it would be for a forty year old man, in his right mind, to be in dippers and using a bottle with milk in it for nourishment, so is it for a child of God to call out to Jesus for salvation and to never grow spiritually!   God's children must take responsibility for their personal growth! If they don't desire to grow, and refuse to take responsibility for that growth, they will stay a spiritual infinite. A.W. Tozer wrote, "The stiff and wooden quality about our religious lives is a result of our lack of holy desire. Complacency is a deadly foe of all spiritual growth. Acute desire must be present or there will be no manifestation of Christ to His people." I encourage you to seek to grow spiritually! Take steps of faith that you may grow in the power of the Holy Spirit! Read God's Word daily, allowing the Spirit to show you new and fresh revelation! Commit yourself to spiritual growth that you may complete all God has called you to do on this earth!
