Tell Everyone
 
"She came along just as Simeon was talking with Mary and Joseph, and she began praising God. She talked about the child to everyone who had been waiting expectantly for God to rescue Jerusalem." Luke 2:38 (NLT)
 
Anna was a prophetess who had been waiting for the birth of Jesus. When she sees Jesus in the Temple with His parents she begins to praise God. She is excited to say the least! She had been waiting for many years to receive the promised Messiah, and finally what she has waited for has become a reality. Now that she has had a personal experience with Jesus she goes out and tells everyone else who has been waiting for their redeemer to come. Anna was overwhelmed with joy and excitement, and couldn't help but tell everyone about Jesus!
 
How about you? Are you overwhelmed with joy and excitement? Does the thought of what Christ has done for you still energize your soul? Are you ready to tell everyone that Jesus has come into your life, and what He has done for you? Or, have you grown cold and indifferent towards all God has done for you? Are you ready to tell everyone who still waits to be redeemed about the salvation that is found only on Christ? Remember what God has done for you! Get excited about the fact that you are a child of God! Your name is written in Heaven! Let the joy of Christ overwhelm your soul once again, and get excited about the opportunity to spread the Good News of Jesus everywhere you go!
