Demonstration
 
"And my speech and my preaching was not with enticing words of man's wisdom, but in demonstration of the Spirit and of power." 1 Corinthians 2:4 (NKJ)
 
Paul possessed a great education, and could have easily given the church at Corinth some grand philosophical lesson on God and man. But, he chose rather to show them a demonstration of who God was by relying on the Holy Spirit. The Corinthians got to experience God instead of just hearing about Him!
 
There is no need to have a great persuasive speech to entice the lost to surrender their lives to Christ if we will rely on the power of the Holy Spirit. The Gospel message is simple and powerful, and we should keep it that way! If we will trust in the power of the Holy Spirit to draw men to Himself, as we pray for them, and share the Gospel with them, we will see people saved.
 
As ambassadors of Christ we carry the power of the Holy Spirit to heal the sick, cast out demons, and to even raise the dead. When we demonstrate God's wonders and love by laying hands on the sick, so that they may be healed, Christ is glorified, and our message of the Gospel is confirmed! The power of the Holy Spirit lives inside of you, and was given to you that you may be a powerful witness for Jesus! Rely on His power as you share the Gospel! You don't need fancy and enticing words; you have the power of the Holy Spirit!
 
"But you will receive power when the Holy Spirit comes upon you. And you will be my witnesses, telling people about me everywhere-in Jerusalem, throughout Judea, in Samaria, and to the ends of the earth." Acts 1:8 (NLT)
