"I pray that God, the source of hope, will fill you completely with joy and peace because you trust in him. Then you will overflow with confident hope through the power of the Holy Spirit." Romans 15:13 (NLT)
 
God is our source of hope! While faith is a here and now, hope on the other hand is futuristic. Faith is made up of our hope that cries out to God until He gives a promise concerning our hope, and when that promise becomes a reality in our hearts, faith is born. Everything good and pleasing we anticipate about the future is found in Christ. As we learn to trust in the Lord for not only our eternal life, but our life in this present world, we will find that God will fill us with a joy and peace that cannot be taken away with time or circumstance. When we experience this level of trust we began to overflow with a confident hope, through the power of the Holy Spirit living inside of us, that God will never fail us! Even in the darkest of times we find this confident hope is able to keep us focused on what the Lord is getting ready to do in our lives, for the joy and peace He has filled us with continues to thrive in our hearts. There is nothing we will face on this earth that is too difficult for our God to take us through and bless us in! When we are overflowing with a confident hope, through the power of the Holy Spirit, the impossible will be turned into reality in our lives! Those around us will behold the power of our God being manifested in, and through, us!
 
As Paul prayed so long ago for the church in Rome, I likewise pray for you today; that our God, the source of true hope, will fill you completely with joy and peace because you trust Him, and by this you will overflow with confident hope, through the power of the Holy Spirit, as the impossible is turned into a reality in your life!
