Dead To Sin
 
"So you also should consider yourselves to be dead to the power of sin and alive to God through Christ Jesus." Romans 6:10 (NLT)
 
REDEEMED!! Jesus has redeemed us from the clutches of sin! The bounty that sin once held on us was paid in full by Christ! When this happened we were taken out from beneath the law of sin and death, and brought under the law of life in Christ Jesus. Being completely freed from the condemnation that comes from sin, and being given the righteousness of our Savior, we are new creations. And, as a new creation that is dead to sin and alive to God through Jesus Christ, our lives should be completely different than they once had been. No longer do we live a life that accepts sin as "ok"! No longer do we allow the enemy to interject his destructive ways into our lives! No longer do we ignore the lost and hurting of this world! We are new, freed from sin, and our lives are to demonstrate that truth! We are no longer to allow ourselves to be lured into the traps of the devil by the temptation of sin, but we are now to overcome the enemy by the power of our testimony and the Spirit of Christ that live inside us! Now that we have received the truth of God's redeeming grace, we can no longer stand idly by as the lost of this world enter eternity without ever hearing the Gospel; we must now make every effort to take the saving message of the Gospel to the ends of the earth and to our neighbors next-door. I encourage you to daily submit your life to Christ, refusing to allow sin to have any part in you! Choose to live a life of power, fully submitted to Christ, shining the glorious light of your Lord everywhere you go!
