Against Hope
 
"Even when there was no reason for hope, Abraham kept hoping-believing that he would become the father of many nations. For God had said to him, 'That's how many descendants you will have!'" Romans 4:18 (NLT)
 
God had made a promise to Abraham, but as time passed it must have seemed that the promise did too. Abraham and his wife Sarah were to have a son, but they grew old, past the years of natural child birthing. But, Abraham never gave up hope, even when there was no reason in the natural to hope any longer. Abraham new he didn't serve a natural God, nor was he given a natural promise. On the contrary, he was given a supernatural promise from a supernatural God! And, in the perfect time, Abraham's hope would become a reality!
 
All of God's promises are sure in Christ! If God has given you a specific promise, know without a doubt that promise will become a reality; all you have to do is trust in His faithfulness and keep on hoping! Regardless of what things look like through your natural eyes don't give up hoping! God, who is your Father, will come through for you! Remember you have received a supernatural promise from a supernatural God! God is not limited by natural circumstances! He is a supernatural God who makes a habit out of doing the impossible! God is faithful to His Word, both His written Word and the Word He speaks to our hearts! If God has given you a promise it will become a reality, but it will only do so in His time and in His way! Don't give up hope! Your Father in Heaven is faithful and He will do for you exactly as He has spoken!
