"Therefore, since we have been made right in God's sight by faith, we have peace with God because of what Jesus Christ our Lord has done for us." Romans 5:1 (NLT)
 
By faith, through Jesus Christ, we have peace with God. The opposite of peace is war, which would correctly describe our position with God before Jesus. But, through Jesus we have been brought onto the winning team! We are on the same team as the mighty angels of Heaven! We have been given the same power that raised Jesus from the grave! We have no fear of being in the presence of God, or considering our Lord's return, for we are citizens of Heaven, children of the One True God! There is no demon we cannot defeat! No mountain too high for us to climb! No valley so low that we cannot get pass it! We have been made overcomers!
 
Watchman Nee, a church leader of the 20th century who spent the last 20 years of his life in prison in communist China, said, "A person who wholly follows the Lord is one who believes that the promises of God are trustworthy, that He is with His people, and that they are well able to overcome." I encourage you to follow the Lord, wherever He may lead you! Don't be afraid to follow the Lord through "hell on earth" to reach your God given destiny! He is with you! Through Him you will overcome any obstacle that stands in your way! Because you're on the winning team all the promises of the Bible are yours! You have access to the power of Heaven to do the work of Heaven here on earth! Move forward in faith, with great expectations, believing God to do the impossible in your life as you fulfill your God given destiny on this earth!
