Move Forward 
  
"Now there were four men with leprosy at the entrance of the city gate. They said to each other, 'Why stay here until we die?'" 2 Kings 7:3 (NIV)
 
The four men with leprosy didn't know what was before them, but they knew for certain what awaited them if they didn't move on. They wisely chose to get up, out of their misery, and go forward towards the Syrian camp. To their surprise the Lord had caused the Syrian army to flee, leaving all their goods behind! The four leopards took a step of faith, when they left their circumstances, and they received the reward of that faith as well!
 
Maybe today you find yourself in an unfavorable place. The circumstances of life have fallen on you, and you feel as if all hope has been lost. Or, perhaps you feel like life is drudgingly passing you by leaving you with nothing. If that is you, I encourage you to stand up and take a step of faith towards a better tomorrow. Even if you're unsure where you'll end up when you take that step of faith, you know for sure what will happen if you don't! Martin Luther King, Jr. once said, "Faith is taking the first step even when you don't see the whole staircase." Take that step of faith towards a better tomorrow even though you don't know where it will lead in the end! And, keep taking steps until you reach the place of blessing God has prepared for you!
